The 4-pack of 6 ft shielded, cross-over cables
are used for connecting Digium T1/E1 interface cards to the PSTN or other T1/E1
equipments. The cross-over cable is the standard cable that should be used to
connect T1/E1 ports to T1/E1 ports or equipment. A straight-through cable should
only be used when Tx and Rx have already been crossed by another cable or
equipment.
